Try These Sweet Potato Wedges

I’m not sure if you know this, but I’m pretty addicted to Sweet Potato Wedges. To the point that they’re almost like heroin to me!

So today I want to give you the recipe to my own delicious sweet potato wedges

I swear, anyone that I have fed these to have been addicted!!

It’s extremely straight forward and so simple to make yet they’re so damn nice.

Let’s get cracking!

1 – Take whatever amount of sweet potato you wish (I go for 200g – 300g portions) and peel them.

2 – Slice the potato in half, and then slice in half again.

3 – Slice up the potato now into your wedges and pop them into a bowl/saucepan

4 – Add a tablespoon of olive oil and stir around to coat all the potatoes

5 – Add in my favourite spice mix – It’s made by Schwartz and it’s literally called “chips”

Here’s what it looks like:

It’s in Super Valu with all the rest of the spices and it’s around €2-3.

6 – Mix it all together and get the spices evenly distributed across the potatoes.

7 – Spread out on a tray

8 –  Stick them in the oven at around 180 degrees, bake for 30-35 mins while turning after 15-18 minutes. (depending on whether you like them crispy or not)

So you should end up with something looking like this:

Now I’m far from a chef (my mother still stresses that I don’t feed myself well enough) and my presentation skills are extremely lacking.

But you should get a fair idea of how to make them now.

Oh and don’t forget that they contain calories, so don’t run off eating a kilo of them a day and then email me complaining that you’re not losing weight.

You can still eat tasty food but just be mindful of your calorie balance to ensure you’re hitting your targets!
