Thanks so much for helping me out Colm
On Thursday, I got an email from an online client to say thanks.
It came out of the blue and it’s nice to hear good things happening people after a bit of coaching.
I love doing my job and it’s little things like this that make all the difference to me.
Here’s how it went:
I never thanked you for the help you gave me over the six weeks, I really appreciate you helping me out.
I doubt you realised how much it helped. This morning I was 106.5kg so that’s a total of 12kg gone since the end of January. I don’t think I would have stuck to it but you kept me accountable for what I was doing.
It may sound like a cliche but I am wearing jerseys and trousers that I haven’t worn in 9 months so it’s great.
It’s crazy how quickly you can let yourself go when you lose the run of things, like I went from 91kg last summer of 2015 to 118kg in January of this year.
Again, thanks so much for the help. I had an idea what I needed to do but just needed someone to push me in the right direction“.
One thing I really know is what it’s like to be stuck unhappy with your weight but feeling like you’ve no control over it.
I know what it’s like to lose all control of your food and pile on weight.
Won’t lie, I still have episodes where it happens.
But for this guy, it was all about steadying the ship. Putting a halt to the overconsumption of food and to work on bringing things back into control.
He done it really well, didn’t feel hungry much and has seen great progress.
Not only that, but something us guys don’t admit is when we’re low on confidence.
But the power of weight loss and good nutrition can really turn things around and get you back in the zone.
Never be afraid to ask for help.
Some of the smallest changes can have the biggest impact on your weight, self esteem and happiness.
Take it one day at a time and don;t be afraid to put the work in.
Have a good Friday.
