Do you happen to be getting married in 2017?
Over the last 12 months, I’ve had the pleasure of helping a few clients get ready for the big day.
And I’ve gotten to know how much it means to the Bride to be looking amazing on the day.
Now let’s not forget, the lads take pride in looking great in a suit too.
But even as a fella, I can admit it – the ladies have a hell of a lot more to put up with in getting ready for the big day.
For us fella’s, it’s a case of a few pints the night before, a shower the next morning followed by mammy making us breakfast.
Quick blast of Lynx Africa and throw on the suit and we’re good to go.
But for the ladies, there’s so much more.
There’s a huge pressure associated with the Wedding Dress.
At the end of the day, these are the photo’s you’ll be looking at for the rest of your lives.
And I’ve yet to meet a lady who doesn’t want to look amazing on the day.
My first client for wedding prep was Lorraine and all she dreamed off was wearing a backless dress.
However, she was unhappy with how she looked but that was soon to change.
6 months of simple yet effective training and she rocked that dress and never felt so good strolling down the aisle.
Then there’s been Mary, Pamela and Tracy who made unreal progress in short spaces of time to being over the moon on their big days.
No one wants to feel the dress hugging a bit too tight around the hips or arms.
No one wants to be showing off skin if they’re not comfortable or confident.
And no one wants to feel/look a bit too “comfy” on their big day.
Before I dive into a bit more about how StrongLife can help, I’m going to sing to you:

It’s happened quite organically here in StrongLife.
I focus on getting the girls stronger, getting a better understanding of nutrition and putting them through challenging workouts based on their current level of fitness.
As they progress, I add in more fitness work, target some muscle toning and always assess their progress to ensure they’re making progress on the scales, in the mirror and in the gym too.
Instead of beating them into the ground with gruelling workouts, I focus on tailored training programmes, working on improving their daily/weekly habits and figuring out exactly where they go wrong with nutrition.
Once we both develop an understanding of them as a person, we can then start rebuilding to lose weight, become stronger, tone up and achieve new levels of fitness.
I do love the satisfaction from enabling someone to enjoy their big day thanks to a new physique and confidence.
But I also love the fact that they are in a much better position now to maintain their health and look after their body going forwards.
So in it’s essence, the StrongWife Training is:
- Tailored programming to suit your timeframe, ability and goals
