Is It Time For A Change?
Right now, are you in the same position as you were 12 months ago?
If the answer is yes, then it’s time to make a change.
As the good man Einstein once said –
For a gym goer, that can look something like this:
You hit the gym 1-3 times a week (depending on what’s on TV, if you had a big weekend or motivation is low – ya know, when you miss a day then it’s twice as hard to go back)
When you get there, you hit the cardio machines because you know them best followed by a few arm exercises with the dumbells then 15 minutes of core work.
You tip away for an hour, you break a sweat and feel like you achieved something meaningful
You head off home, put the feet up feeling satisfied and enjoy a few biscuits after dinner.
Month in month out, it doesn’t really change. Weekends are a blow out. Gym sessions lack anything substantial. And the weight doesn’t seem to shift.
You feel like you’re doing all the right things but it’s just not working for you.
And the biggest problem is, it’s hard to assess what you’re doing or get the advice of a personal trainer because – no one wants to be feel they’re wrong, no one wants to feel clueless or stupid.
For me, I don’t view what you’ve done as being “wrong”. I rather to help show you more productive ways to use your time in the gym for maximum results.
But right now, I need you to take an honest look and assess your progress
When it comes to health and fitness, we can break that down to simply:
Have you lost weight, gained weight or simply stayed the same?
Have you toned up, got softer looking or see no difference at all?
Now one thing people fear is – CHANGE
It’s a step away from the comfort zone, away from familiar surroundings and from what you know so well
Change brings about uncertainty. You can be fearful of doing something new in case you make a fool of yourself or get it wrong.
But change shouldn’t be feared
For with change means a chance to learn new things, develop new habits and skills and a chance to learn more about you and your body.
Making a change is a time to take account of where you are right now, where you want to be and developing a plan to get there.
It’s a time to let go of the old methods and step outside your comfort zone and challenge yourself.
That’s when you will truly see yourself develop both physically and mentally.
One of the biggest changes you can make is swapping the treadmill for a barbell or kettlebell.
And that’s one of your specialties here in Stronglife. Simply empowering you with the skills required to effectively (and safely) lift weights for a much improved physique.
Alongside that, we help you gain a much better understanding of nutrition for yourself and cut through the BS that’s peddled at you every day.
We strive to make it the simplest of changes you can make.
Small changes done consistently for big results.
