Today’s StrongLife Success Story is how Lisa Rogan is toning up and dropping inches.
Lisa has been here a few months now.
She mainly came so she could learn to lift weights and get stronger.
But as time went on, she wanted to fine tune her diet too so she could see even more results.
Over the last number of weeks, she’s been flying it.
So I’ll let Lisa take over now and tell you about her time here.
Why Did You Join StrongLife Gym?
My friends recently joined and said they found it great.
So off their recommendation, I decided to give it a try.
It never feels like a chore and Colm’s good sense of humour makes you feel comfortable and the hour flies by.
Also, I had heard that Colm likes cats too.*
So having recently gotten a little kitten called Peanut, I thought it was the perfect time to join!*
How Do You Find The Coaching Here?
This is the only gym that I’ve joined where I don’t feel intimidated or feel lost and don’t know what to do.
I’ve joined plenty of gyms in the past and this would be ones of the reasons why I would leave them.
So to have Colm always on hand with support and help is a great bonus.
Especially when most of my training is focused on lifting weights.
And it’s one of the reasons why I keep coming back.

With good calorie counting advice from Colm and a 2 day training programme, I can notice my weight dropping and body toning up a lot.
Over the last 8-10 weeks, I’ve dropped over 8 lbs and 7.5 inches overall.
I can really see the difference in my clothes and waist!
Not only that, but my friend Ciara always told me I’d never be as strong as her.*

I have and will recommend this place to all my friends.
The programmes work, it’s fun and the time flies by.
It’s not torturous like other generic gyms.
And if you put in the work and follow his advice, you WILL see results.
Squats, Deadlifts And Pure Thickness
If there was ever a way to describe how Lisa gets her results, it’s Squats, Deadlifts and pure thickness.
I’ll never forget her first day here.
The others were pushing a 60kg sled and there was no way she’d let me take the plates off.
She grabbed the sled and took off up the gym like Dale Winton had just started the Supermarket Sweep.
And about 47 seconds later the two legs folded under her like a new born calf.
So it was that day that I realised, no matter I throw at her, she’ll just get thick and get it done.
Whether it’s Squats, Deadlifts or Sleds.
But all joking aside, Lisa is great fun to train.
There’s always a laugh to be had, the time flies by and she never shies away from work.
Not only that, but she listens and asks questions to make sure she’s doing all ok.
Now don’t get me wrong, there’s days she comes in and gives me a look.
A look that says “if you make one dodgy joke today I’ll take the head clean off ya!”.
But apart from striking fear into me on a regular basis, she’s a great client and I look forward to helping her in 2019 too.
Whether it’s to help her get fitter or feel better in her check shirt when off jiving.*
