The 5 Rules To Joining StrongLife Gym in 2017:
1. Don’t be too serious.
It’s generally quite fun in here every day. So be prepared to have a laugh. I strive to create a friendly and fun environment for everyone and based off a lot of recent feedback, it’s exactly what we have here.
Everyone has their own stuff going on in their lives so I want this to be a place where they come in, enjoy their time and go home feeling great.
2. Be friendly.
There’s such a fantastic bunch of people here so don’t be afraid to say hello and get to know them.
I honestly couldn’t ask for a better bunch of people to come through the door every week and you’ll soon make a few friends in no time in here. Getting to know everyone makes coming in so much easier.
3. Keep an open mind.
If you’ve been in gyms/classes or read stuff online, by now you’ve probably developed a few opinions based on what you’ve been told.
All I ask is that you keep an open mind, take on board my views and make an informed decision then.
There’s so many different ways to train and views on nutrition. It’s about formulating what suits you best in order to get you results long term. We can take different aspects of many disciplines without falling into the trap of “this way is the best and only way to do it”.
4. Don’t be afraid to lift heavy things.
My first and foremost mission is to get you lifting safely, effectively and confidently. After that, we’ll have to push on and challenge you with heavier weights and training plans.
Lifting 5kg dumbells 12 months a year is never going to challenge or change you. Get lifting and start making progress.
5. Be honest.
We don’t do quick fixes and if that’s something you’re looking for, then we’re not for you.
I love helping people in every way possible but if you genuinely want a fad diet and a miracle program, then I’m not going to con you for the sake of a few euro.
